Hot dipped galvanized flat bars refer to flat bars of carbon steel that have been coated with a layer of zinc by immersing them in a bath of molten zinc at a temperature of around 450°C. The process of hot dipping creates a metallurgical bond between the zinc coating and the steel substrate, which provides superior corrosion resistance compared to other forms of coating.
Hot dipped galvanized flat bars are commonly used in construction, transportation, and manufacturing industries due to their excellent performance in outdoor and corrosive environments. The zinc coating provides a sacrificial layer that corrodes preferentially over the steel substrate, thereby protecting the underlying steel from corrosion. This makes hot dipped galvanized flat bars ideal for use in structures subject to harsh environmental conditions, such as bridges, highway guardrails, and outdoor staircases.
In addition to corrosion protection, hot dipped galvanized flat bars also provide other enhanced properties such as excellent formability, increased ductility, and improved paint adhesion. They are available in a range of sizes and thicknesses to meet the specific requirements of various applications.
Features
1. The product specification is special. The thickness is 8-50mm, the width is 150-625mm, the length is 5-15m, and the product specifications are relatively dense, which can meet the needs of users. It can be used instead of the middle plate and can be directly welded without cutting.
2. The surface of the product is smooth. In the process, the high-pressure water descaling process is used for the second time to ensure the smooth surface of the steel.
3. The two sides are vertical and the water chestnut is clear. The second vertical rolling in the finish rolling ensures good verticality of both sides, clear corners and good edge surface quality.
4. The size of the product is accurate, with a difference of three points, and the difference of the same level is better than the steel plate standard; the product is straight and the shape is good. The continuous rolling process is adopted for the finishing rolling, and the automatic control of the looper ensures that no steel is piled up or pulled. good degree. Cold shearing, high precision in length determination.
Application
Galvanized flat steel can be used as a finished material to make hoops, tools and mechanical parts. It can be used as structural parts of houses and escalators in buildings.
